What is Wellness Coaching?
Wellness Coaching is a vehicle for helping people achieve a higher level of wellbeing. It is a form of preventative healthcare, and it’s based on positive psychology so various scientific methods and tools are used to help you to improve your health. Wellness Coaching focuses on habit formations, so we don’t focus on the past, we meet you where you are at and help you to move forward. We help with lifestyle changes such as improving your eating and exercise habits, your motivation, productivity or self-esteem, and confidence levels, managing stress, anxiety, and anything else related to your health and wellbeing.
How can a Health and Wellness Coach help me?
In a nutshell, as a health and wellness coach I help you to make the behavioural changes you need to make to build your optimal health and wellbeing. My role is to support, inspire and guide you, but above all to help you make meaningful behavioural changes, get results, build momentum, and keep you on track aka accountable!
In my coaching, I use scientific tools and techniques which are based on positive psychology, neuroscience, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and mind-body connection practices, (just to name a few) so you can walk away with practical strategies which you can implement in your day-to-day life.
